Thank you for the opportunity to share our portfolio in relation to the SHOPIFY E-COMMERCE DESIGN & BUILD. Forte1 is a Singapore-based creative studio focusing on digital design, videography, and photography. This curated collection of our work highlights our capabilities in alignment with the goals discussed for your upcoming project.

We understand the general objectives and requirements of your project are:

To plan, design, develop, and deploy a high-converting, fully customized Shopify e-commerce website.
To elevate the online brand experience by combining intentional, seamless UI/UX design with high-quality visual content that drives conversions.
To build a robust, scalable digital storefront that optimizes the customer purchase journey—making it effortless for both new and returning audiences to browse collections, understand the brand value, and securely check out.

Approach

Forte1 has been involved in the development of several best-in-class websites using Squarespace, Wordpress as well as custom built websites. Prior to starting Forte1, Norman has designed websites for corporate clients such as Intel. Epson and Lenovo. We will use the best practices from those websites combined with learnings from 10 over years of helping clients meet their business objectives.

We always prefer a more collaborative working style with our clients. An iterative design approach with a consistent and constructive interaction between agency and client yields the best result.

Accela Group Website

Accela is a team of forward-thinking professionals with energy, passion and a genuine love of what we do. They help businesses of all sizes and industries in Southeast Asia across PR, Finance, Recruitment, HR, Work Pass Processing and Company Incorporation.

What we did
We build four websites for all the professional services that they offered. Given design restrictions when building websites using platforms such as Squarespace and Wordpress, we managed to fit Accela’s branding for all of their sites. We used custom CSS and plugins and Squarespace also allows us to integrate their current CRM system easily.

ARTitude Galería E-Commerce Website

ARTitude Galería is a vibrant art gallery located at the hip and influential Dempsey Hill. Specialising in Latin America art, the founder injected her passion and love for art that celebrates life.

What we did
We build the entire e-commerce sit using Squarespace. Adding custom codes and plugins made the site adhere to their branding and give additional functionalities to the site. Using Squarespace also allows the client to update content on their own, a task they disliked on their previous website. Within 4 weeks, the entire site was up and running. Given the amount of content and inventory the site needed to show, that is pretty fast.

Snowman Race Bhutan

This challenging marathon is set to happen this year, after being delayed because of Covid. A race that was organised to raise awareness about climate change, it will be held in Bhutan. It’s a multi-day event and it will test the athletes endurance and mental strength.

What we did
A geometric and robust typography was chosen to develop strong and reliable communication. Also, I chose a compressed font to create urgency in the headline copy. I’ve added visual elements such as contoured backgrounds and torn edges to suggest the rugged nature of the race. For colours, I took inspiration from the strong saffron and orange colours from Buddhist monk outfit and contrasted it with deep blues and lime greens.

Although this site was done in Wordpress, we changed almost all the visual styles that was provided in the theme. As a result, this looks like a custom build website and it will still give clients easy access to update the content on their own.

Mopsquad

Born on January 2018, Mopsquad became one of the leading professional cleaning companies in Singapore by offering customers a transparent and reliable service. They needed a design partner to make their site to look professional and score high on Google search rankings.

What we did: We deployed a Wordpress theme and further tweaked the typography, codes and visual assets to strengthen the brand’s identity. With these improvements, their website looked more credible and professional when compared to similar businesses.
